Plymouth Closets Built by a Father and Son Team
Plymouth is the kind of town people stay in. Summer evenings in Kellogg Park, the Ice Festival every winter, and a downtown full of local shops. When you plan on staying, you want a home that works, and the closet is one of the first places that shows whether it does.
Three things Plymouth homeowners tell us
1. "We share a closet and it is not working." Two people, one rod and a pile of shoes is a common story. Splitting the space into dedicated zones, or building two separate closets when the layout allows it, ends the daily shuffle.
2. "The house is great, the storage is not." Many Plymouth homes, whether near downtown or out in the township, came with basic wire shelving. We replace it with cabinet-grade panels, drawers and adjustable shelves, and removing the old shelving is included.
3. "We want it done right, once." Every panel is cut to your measurements in our shop. Nothing is a one-size kit.
A primary closet, up close
White panels, angled shoe shelves with metal fences so pairs stay put, open shelves up top and a hanging section right alongside. Simple pieces, laid out so everything has a spot and nothing ends up on the floor.
Who you work with
Drew and Todd Christensen are son and father. Drew designs every project and Todd runs production and leads the install. You will not be handed off to a subcontractor. After design approval, most projects are installed in 2 to 3 weeks, usually in a single day. You talk to the same two people from the first visit to the final walkthrough.
What we build
Walk-in and reach-in closets, pantries, mudrooms, garage storage and Murphy beds. Pantries get pull-out drawers and adjustable shelves so the bulk-buy run actually fits. Garages get cabinets that keep yard and sports gear off the floor, which is welcome when the car comes in covered in snow. If you want to see finishes, hardware and drawer options in person, stop by our showroom on Airport Blvd in Ann Arbor.
FAQ
- Can you split one shared closet into two zones?
- Yes. We plan separate hanging, drawer and shoe areas for each person so nobody is borrowing space.
- Do you work in both the City of Plymouth and Plymouth Township?
- Yes, both are in our service area. Drew comes to your home to measure and talk through the design.
- What replaces our builder wire shelving?
- Cabinet-grade melamine panels with drawers, rods and adjustable shelves. We take out the old shelving as part of the job.
- How long will the install take?
- Most installs are finished in one day. Larger projects can run longer, and we will tell you up front.
